“Agree with my Word; It’s that simple”
Early in my years as a wife and a mother, I had been asking God what vision He had for our family. What could I pray and stand on regarding our future?
“For your family” the Holy Spirit whispered to my heart, and my eyes exploded as Psalm 112 (NKJV) jumped off the page.
“Agree with my Word; It’s that simple.”
I could hear Him “teaching me to profit” as I was quiet and listened to His impression within me.
I stopped as Psalm 112 shone like a star in the sky to me.
I could feel God guiding me with His eye. (Psalm 32:8).
Over 20 years ago, Psalm 112 became the prayer over our family that I prayed often and for each of us. I also included names of loved ones and others I knew as I personalized the prayer for our lives.
Yes! It is and will always be true – For God is not a man that He should lie.
Here I share Psalm 112 (NKJV) with you for yourself and your family – Pray in the first person – insert yourself – and may you be blessed richly.
Praise the Lord!
Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
Who delights greatly in His commandments.
His descendants will be mighty on earth;
The generation of the upright will be blessed.
Wealth and riches will be in his house,
And his righteousness endures forever.
Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness,
He is gracious and full of compassion, and righteous.
A good man deals graciously and lends;
He will guide his affairs with discretion.
Surely he will never be shaken;
The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.
He will not be afraid of evil tidings;
His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
His heart is established;
He will not be afraid,
Until he sees his desire upon his enemies.
He has dispersed abroad,
He has given to the poor;
His righteousness endures forever;
His horn will be exalted with honor.
The wicked will see it and be grieved;
He will gnash his teeth and melt away;
The desire of the wicked shall perish.
